Windows Live OneCare
This manual shows you how to create an exception on the Windows Live OneCare firewall for our application.
This manual has been created on Windows Vista Ultimate 32bit Edition, the screenshots might vary if you are using the Windows Live OneCare firewall on Windows XP SP2.
(1) Right click on the Windows Live OneCare Icon in the task bar

(2) Change OneCare settings

(3) Select "Firewall" and "Advanced settings...".

(4) Select "Programs" and "Add..."

(5) Select "connect.exe" from the folder where SX-Virtual Link was installed

In default the path is:
"C:Program Filessilex technologySX Virtual Linkconnect.exe" for SX-Virtual Link
"C:Program Filessilex technologyPRICOM USB Utilityconnect.exe" for USB Utility.
(6) Check that the software is set to "allow". Click "Apply".

(7) Now go to "Ports and protocols", click on "Add...".

(8) Add a new exception
One for outgoing data

Name: SXUPTP(OUT)
TCP or UDP: TCP
Port Range: 19540 to 19540
For Connections: Outbound [remote ports]
Scope: Internet
One more exception for incoming data:

Name: SXUPTP(OUT)
TCP or UDP: UDP
Port Range: 19540 to 19540
For Connections: Inbound [local ports]
Scope: Internet
(9) Check the created exceptions

Please make sure that both exceptions are enabled
(10) Finish the configuration

Please reboot your computer to take effect of the changes.
