This manual shows you how to create an exception on the Trend Micro PC Cillin Internet Security 2007 firewall for our application.

This manual has been created on Windows XP Professional, the screenshots might vary if you are using the in earlier versions as well as on Windows Vista.

(1) Go to Start>All Programs>Trend Micro PC Cillin Internet Security 2007 and then choose Trend Micro PC Cillin Internet Security 2007
Once this is open, click on the button on the left that says "Personal Network & Firewall Controls"

(2) Now click on the button that says "Settings..."

(3) Make sure that the option "Direct Internet Connection" is highlighted (a) then click on the "Add" button (b)

(4) On the next screen make sure that the security level is set for low (a)
Now click on the tab at the top that says "Program Control" (b)

(5) Now click on the "Add" button.

(6) Now, click on browse, and navigate to the location C:Program Filessilex technologySX Virtual Link and select the program Connect which is highlighted below.

In default the path is:
"C:Program Filessilex technologySX Virtual Linkconnect.exe" for SX-Virtual Link
"C:Program Filessilex technologyPRICOM USB Utilityconnect.exe" for USB Utility.

(7) Now make sure that program setting is set on "Simple Mode" and that the option "Allow" is selected. Click Ok, and then Ok once more and you are done.

You may need to reboot your computer to take effect of the changes.
