This manual shows you how to create an exception on the Norton Internet Securities firewall for our application.

This manual has been created on Windows XP Professional, the screenshots might vary if you are using the Norton Internet Securities in earlier versions as well as on Windows Vista.

(1) Go to Start>All Programs>Norton Internet Security and then choose Norton Internet Security.
Once this is open, expand settings (a) and scroll down to the bottom where it shows "Internet Security and Firewall Options (b). Click on this.

(2) Select Program Control

(3) Click on the Add button

(4) Browse to the C:Program Filessilex technologySX Virtual Link folder.
Select the program (highlighted below) "Connect" and then click "Open"

In default the path is:
"C:Program Filessilex technologySX Virtual Linkconnect.exe" for SX-Virtual Link
"C:Program Filessilex technologyPRICOM USB Utilityconnect.exe" for USB Utility.

(5) Program control will then ask you for the appropriate action for this program.
Choose "Allow" and then click the OK button

(6) Next, click on the "Apply" button, this will confirm and apply the exception for SX Virtual Link
Click the OK button to exit.

You may need to reboot your computer to take effect of the changes.
