This manual shows you how to create an exception on the ZoneAlarm Firewall version 7.0.302.000 for our application.

This manual has been created on Windows SP SP2, the screenshots might vary if you are using a different version of ZoneAlarm.

(1) Please Start SX-VL

(2) Please go to "Option"

Enable "Show IP address" and "OK".

(4) Write down the IP of the Device Server

(5) Right Click on the ZoneAlarm Icon in the taskbar and open the ZoneAlarm Control Center

(6) Go to "Firewall" - "Zones" and click on "Add>>"

Select "IP Address".

(7) Please add the IP of your Device Server (from step 4)

Confirm with "OK".

(8) Check settings

Make sure that the IP of the Device Server is listed to be in the "trusted" zone and click on "Firewall".

Now the connection in SX-VL or PRICOM USB Utility should work fine.
