This manual shows you how to create an exception on the McAfee SecurityCenter 2007 Firewall for our application.

This manual has been created on Windows XP Professional, the screenshots might vary if you are using the McAfee SecurityCenter in earlier versions as well as on Windows Vista.

(1) Go to Start>All Programs>McAfee and then choose McAfee Security center.
Once this is open, select Internet & Network (a) and then click on the option to "Configure" (b).

(2) Expand the list be Firewall Protection is enabled by lick on the arrows (a)
Now click on the button that says "Advanced" (b)

(3) Next make sure that "Program Permissions on the left column is highlighted (a)
Now, click on the button "Add Allowed Program" (b)

(4) Browse to the C:Program Filessilex technologySX Virtual Link folder.
Select the program (highlighted below) "Connect" and then click "Open"

In default the path is:
"C:Program Filessilex technologySX Virtual Linkconnect.exe" for SX-Virtual Link
"C:Program Filessilex technologyPRICOM USB Utilityconnect.exe" for USB Utility.

(5) Click the ok button, you are done.

You may need to reboot your computer to take effect of the changes.
